The Draghi drama was certainly upgraded this time. We talk about about all the implications of everything that happened and didn’t happen there. We then talk about earnings season and what we should and shouldn’t look out for, take a look at rising oil prices from the M&A angle and conclude with the Canadian dollar.

  1. Draghi Drama++: Josephine Witt threw confetti at the ECB president, called for the end of the institution’s dictatorship and certainly stole the show. He remained calm also as reported asked him about the exit strategy. What does this all mean?
  2. Earnings season: It seems that everybody beats the street. Do we need to take it seriously? We poke through the earnings’ meaning and talk about what is more important for stocks.
  3. Oil: Prices have gone up as a change may be coming to supply. We talk about this and about the mega-deals.
  4. CAD: Talking about oil always has the Canadian context, but the jump in the loonie is not solely oil related. We explain the latest moves.
