According to a Bloomberg survey of 61 economists, Non-Farm Payrolls are expected to show a gain of 140,000 jobs, made by the private sector, that is predicted to have created 155,000 jobs, more than triple the 50,000 reported in November.
I believe that the headline figure will be higher, more towards the high end of Bloomberg’s survey, 215,000. I also think that last month’s number will be revised to the upside.
Stay tuned for a preview for the Non-Farm Payrolls. In the meantime, here’s the weekly outlook, covering all the major events this week.
