  1. Recent US developments: The US dollar found reasons to rise with more bullish talk from Yellen and better GDP, but the rate hike still seems elusive.
  2. Canada: Why does the C$ refuse to rise when oil prices rise? Well, Canada is not only about commodities but also about other factors, with heightened uncertainty towards the elections.
  3. Catalonia: Separatists in Spain’s rich northeastern region won a majority in parliament, but it’s more complicated. We explain the bubbling story that continues brewing on the sidelines and could destabilize the euro, more than Greece.
  4. Copper: This very useful metal is sometimes called “Dr. Copper” understanding what’s going on in the global economy. We discuss the basics: supply and demand, and it’s not only China and not a one way street.
  5. Preview: The turn of the quarter provides interesting figures, including the all important Non-Farm Payrolls. We make our best #NFPGuesses and also discuss other events.
